It’s from here that she began her final journey on Monday before being lowered into the Royal Vault, where she is laid to rest with her husband Prince Philip.
At the funeral, a distraught King Charles III and his family surrounded the casket of the late Queen. Several times during the service, his eyes began to well up.
Upon his arrival at Westminster Abbey, Prince Andrew, the Queen’s favored son, was spotted crying. Onlookers at Westminster Hall and the Abbey witnessed the solemn procession of the monarch’s third eldest son on his way to the Abbey. As the royal family put on a united front during the national time of sorrow, the Duke of York, who appeared to be holding back tears as he walked, played a pivotal part in the Queen’s funeral.
Andrew’s brother Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, too was spotted wiping away tears during the funeral service. As the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward, sat in the Abbey for the service, video footage shows that he shed a few tears, using a tissue to wipe his eyes and nose, reports Independent.

Meghan, too, was moved to tears. As the procession with the Queen’s coffin left Westminster Abbey, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wife, attempted to wipe away a tear. While standing with Camilla, the Queen Consort, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the Duchess of Sussex appeared visibly moved and wiped a tear from her face.
